BIG name departures from RTE 2FM have seen listener numbers plummet for the station.
The drops are revealed in new JNLR figures released today.
However RTE say the fightback is underway with a new era for the station starting in January with a schedule of fresh presenters and shows.
But they will have big boots to fill as latest JNLR figures show 2FM’s drivetime slot was down 12,000 listeners to 145,000 after the departure of The 2 Johnnies back in May.
And 2FM’s Breakfast Show was down 7,000 to 142,000 after the loss of Doireann Garrihy and Donncha O’Callaghan.
