JEFFERSON CITY — Candidates from the top to the bottom of the election ticket campaigned around the state of Missouri on Monday, the day before the general election.

Almost the entire Republican ticket held a “Get Out The Vote” event at Jefferson City Memorial Airport. Republican Lt. Gov. and gubernatorial candidate Mike Kehoe and Republican incumbent Attorney General Andrew Bailey were some of the bigger names who spoke at the event.

Sen. Josh Hawley did not attend, which his campaign said was due to weather, but he did speak to people in Chesterfield.

Hawley’s challenger, Democratic candidate Lucas Kunce, visited a community service center in Joplin.

In the governor’s race, Kehoe spoke at the event held in Jefferson City on Monday morning. His opponent, Democrat Crystal Quade, posted on social media that she was visiting Greene County near Springfield.
