Festive feline ‘Cataclaws’ stars in Lego Christmas spot [Video]

The Lego Group has introduced a new character for this year’s global festive campaign, “it’s not a cat, it’s Cataclaws”. 

Created by Our Lego Agency and the Lego global brand development team, the campaign features a 105-second film that opens with adults getting reading for the big day stressfully.

A group of kids introduces the adults to Cataclaws, a festive cat made of Lego, who reminds everyone that there’s nothing more important than playing together this Christmas.

Cataclaws takes boring situations and turns them into moments of joy and fun, from creating a flurry of snow made from Lego bricks to giving people funky haircuts. 

It was directed by Brazilian directing duo Alaska through New-Land. The ad features more than 20 Lego products and unique builds, along with cameos from characters and various mini Cataclaws builds hidden throughout.
