Notre Dame depth chart projection from Inside ND Sports for 2024 season [Video]

Notre Dame on Monday unveiled its latest depth chart for Saturday night’s game against Florida State after head coach Marcus Freeman‘s press conference. Freeman shared key injury updates that are impacting the depth chart. And they continue to be mostly encouraging news.

There’s only two players listed as questionable this week — kicker Mitch Jeter (right hip) and freshman backup vyper end Loghan Thomas (right hamstring). Jeter has been out since suffering the injury early in ND’s 49-7 rout of Stanford on Oct. 12.

Freshman Tae Johnson, who missed the first eight games this season with a left foot injury, finally is available. And instead of playing safety, he’ll be a backup to fellow freshman Leonard Moore at the boundary cornerback spot.

Key backup defensive tackle Jason Onye has missed the last three games for “personal reasons” and was not listed on Monday’s depth chart in the two-deeps. Marcus Freeman said the team continues to support his time away from …
