Calhoun Community College and The University of Alabama (UA) sign a 2+2 articulation agreement for Social Work.
DECATUR, Ala. — Calhoun Community College announced at 11:01 a.m. that the event to sign an agreement with the University of Alabama (UA) has been canceled.
The agreement signing event was originally set for Nov. 4. This partnership aims to create a smoother transfer pathway for social work students.
This ‘2+2’ articulation agreement allows Calhoun students to transfer all completed coursework directly into UA’s social work program, which offers both online and traditional formats.
The new agreement enables Calhoun students to complete the first two years of their social work degree at Calhoun before transferring to UA to finish their bachelor’s degree. This initiative aims to strengthen the partnership between the two colleges and provide enhanced transfer options for students in the field of social work.
