WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) – United Way of Marathon County, in part with the United Way Worldwide network, will host the nationally televised United Way Benefit for Hurricane Relief™ in collaboration with Paramount on Saturday, Nov. 2.
The event, which includes musical performances, special appearances, and messages from numerous well-known acts, will air on CBS and CMT at 7 p.m.
“The United Way Benefit for Hurricane Relief is an opportunity to unite people to help the individuals and families impacted by the devastating hurricanes. Because united is the way to create long-term and lasting resiliency for individuals, families, and communities,” UWW President and CEO Angela Williams said.
