Graham to get renovated Hero House early next year [Video]

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – In January of 2024 Helen Farabee of Graham stopped its day habilitation program for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. That led Graham Friends of The Arc to reach out to The Arc of Wichita County to bring their services to those in Young County who can benefit. In May, The Arc of Wichita County helped to establish a new Hero House.

A Hero House teaches those with IDD life and work skills and social development through activities, classes and community outings.

Graham Friends of The Arc contacted the executive director at The Arc of Wichita County, Anthony Watkins, about a new Hero House in Young County being established.
