BANGOR — Starting next month, the city of Bangor’s Planning and Community Development Committees will be hosting a series a meetings to hear public feedback on how residents would like to see their respective neighborhoods improved.
Between November 7th and December 10th, city officials will host seven Neighborhood Community Planning meetings.
“We’re going to have stations for each different initiative that we’re doing. The land use code section for example will have a poster showing, talk about the comprehensive plan, which this is based on. We’ll have maps that people can draw on a corridor nearby like State Street or Broadway, talk about what they want to see on that corridor. For complete streets we would have a map where people can put down streetscape improvements they would want to see on that corridor,” says Anja Collette, Planning Officer for the city of Bangor.
