Police say the suspects used tools stolen from another Delgado building to try to take the machine.
NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding two people wanted for trying to steal an ATM from Delgado’s campus.
The incident happened on Thursday, October 17, around 12:30 a.m.
Police say the suspects used tools stolen from the school’s automotive lab and machine building to try to take the machine.
“The suspects failed for several minutes to pry the double doors of the fitness center open but resulted in smashing the front glass door to make entry,” NOPD said.
The suspects did steal keys to a vehicle and multiple building keys before leaving the scene around 5:30 a.m.
