Holiday Happenings Victorian Dinners set for Old Prairie Town [Video]

Reservations are open for the popular Holiday Happenings Victorian dinners at Old Prairie Town. The dinners are scheduled for Dec 5, Dec. 6 and Dec 7. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the meal being served at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 per person. Call 785.251.6993.

            Guests are treated to a live performance of period music as they dine in the Preston Hale Room of the Ward-Meade mansion. A wonderful Victorian buffet is served in the dining room of the mansion. Guests may then enjoy hot fudge sundaes in the Potwin Drug Store, molasses cookies in the Ward-Cabin and tours of Old Prairie Town’s 1800s era buildings.

            Holiday Happenings is a tradition for many families and the dinners usually sell out, so early reservations are encouraged.
