Following the success of its inaugural game, the HBCU Port City Classic powered by the Mobile Sports Authority football game is back in the port city, promising another exhilarating matchup between the Alabama State Hornets and the Alcorn BraveHawks in a Southern Athletic (SWAC) showdown.

Scheduled for Saturday, November 2nd, kickoff for the game is set for 4:00 PM at the historic Ladd-Peebles Stadium, promising an exciting and memorable experience for all attendees. Building upon the spirit of the inaugural year, this year’s event will feature several pre-game activities and festivities for supporters and guests.

Among the highlights:

Cheer Clinic featuring both Alabama State and Alcorn State cheerleaders, a Business Expo, inaugural HBCU Golf Tournament, as well as an evening of comedy and music featuring nationally renowned comedians and recording artists.
