Who put the Keystone Cops in charge of election security?

Three different locations in Portland and Vancouver were hit by incendiary devices, and only ONE had a security camera.

Security cameras are cheap; lots of folks have them on their front doors. The Cybersecurity Infrastructure Security Agency recommends them for ballot drop box locations.

Instead, hundreds of ballots got barbecued just a week from the most important election of our lifetimes.

Officials anticipated this kind of attack; why else would they equip the drop boxes with fire suppression systems?

Only, like so many other things the government does—from bridges to computers—some of the extinguishers failed. And that surprises anyone?
