The inspections work. Not only have more machines arrived at Traylor sites ready to work, but as inspections assign accountability for damage or unnecessary wear, the frequency and severity of excess costs have dropped. Inspections also help isolate the costs of extreme operating conditions so they can be built into bids.

Equipment Inspections Make Traylor Bids More Profitable

With more than 2,000 pieces of equipment working mostly joint-venture infrastructure projects all across North America, the company’s equipment division has gained unique value using an inspection checklist in an iPad app to make inspections easier to conduct and to communicate more and better machine-condition information.
