Top country artists hold ‘Concert for Carolina’ in Charlotte to benefit Hurricane Helene victims [Video]

Nearly a dozen country music stars used their musical talents to encourage Western North Carolina to follow Helene. North Carolina natives Luke Combs and Eric Church are headlining the event.Thousands dressed in their best cowboy boots and gear to listen to some of country music’s biggest stars at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.Many attended with their own personal ties to Western North Carolina. “I have a niece who couldn’t get out of her house. She was fine, but they couldn’t leave.” attendee Susan Johnson said. “My son lives in Asheville, he was affected by the hurricane,” attendee Bonnie Britt said. “So he and his wife and four dogs are living with us for the last five weeks.” All proceeds from the concert will go to multiple non-profit organizations across the state, a service close to the heart of headliner Luke Combs.”The Manna Food Bank being one, me and my …
