Glenwood responds to reported payroll issue [Video]

WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE) – According to Glenwood Regional Medical Center, some employees from a third-party vendor weren’t paid today (Oct. 25).

KNOE reached out to Glenwood to find out what happened. Glenwood officials said the issue was caused by a payroll processing error.

Community Liaison and Marketing for Glenwood Regional Medical Center Angela Grubbs released the following statement:

“It has come to our attention that employees from a third-party vendor have not received their pay as of this morning. While these contracted employees are not direct employees of Glenwood, they are our coworkers. As soon as we learned of the issue, we worked diligently to identify the problem and push for a solution.

We have been informed that this was a payroll processing error and we have been assured that these employees will be paid today. We will continue to monitor the situation, as Glenwood values the work these …
