Prescribed burn in Shasta County | News [Video]

SHASTA COUNTY, Calif. – In eastern Shasta County, CAL FIRE is continuing its Dash Ranch Vegetation Management project today.

The burn started on Thursday on the south side of Oak Run Road at the top of Carpenter Grade in Oak Run.

Crews will reduce 500 acres of non-native grass, brush, dead and downed trees.
