Rapid Citys online tool lists active construction projects [Video]

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – With all the new development happening around the Rapid City area, a city official believes it’s a strong indication that the area continues to grow.

“We’re definitely growing, we wanted to create a document and term it a rap sheet because I, I think we all know if there’s a rap sheet on someone, is giving you all the information you need to know to make the best-informed decision,” the Community Development Director of the City of Rapid City Vicki Fisher said.

She believes the city’s community development rap sheet is helpful for people looking to see where current construction projects are taking place around town.

“If you’re driving around town, you see a shovel of dirt being turned, don’t you often ask yourself, ‘What’s happening there?’” Fisher said.
