Former President Donald Trump thanked a man who prayed to God during a press event, asking the Lord to “anoint” Trump. “Wow!” Trump exclaimed, “You don’t hear that often.”
Trump and his allies have been spreading misleading information and outright lies about the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and other Biden administration responses to the devastating Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton, even as GOP officials have refuted the attacks.
At a press event in Asheville, North Carolina Monday afternoon, Trump continued to press those attacks as he gathered with local Republicans and businessmen who support him.
