The threat was made by people that police say had no connection to the schools.
NORWICH, Conn. — A high school football game that was originally scheduled for Thursday has been rescheduled to Friday after a threat was made according to police.
Norwich Free Academy was set to play Fitch High School at 6 p.m. Thursday. Students contacted the Fitch High School Resource Officer with concerns over of social media posts by individuals who are not associated with Fitch High School nor this event.
“We encourage students, parents, and citizens who are made aware of concerning posts and potential threats they view on social media to immediately bring them to attention of public safety and/or school officials,” Groton Police Chief L.
