WILL COUNTY — The team behind a New Lenox business vowed to rebuild after fire destroyed their facility Thursday.
Fire officials were called to Tri-Star Cabinet & Top Co before 11 a.m. for a blaze at the building. Heavy smoke could be seen for miles.
“Thanks to the quick actions of our dedicated employees, everyone was safely evacuated,” a post on the business’ Facebook page said. “We are incredibly grateful for your bravery and teamwork. … Together, we will rebuild and come back stronger. Thank you all for your courage and commitment!”
Officials monitored air quality during the firefight and said the air remained within safe levels.
Multiple agencies responded. There were no reports of injuries and no immediate word on the cause of the fire.
