Local candidates ready to answer questions at Meet the Candidates event [Video]

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Thursday evening make your way over to The Hytch at Sierra Water Gardens for a night of casual networking with this year’s candidates in every contested municipal election, from the Washoe County Commission to Reno/Sparks City Councils and the Washoe County School Board.

Tiffany Kress, board member of the YPN, says “Understanding that your local races are equally important because what happens in your hometown is just as important as what happens nationwide and it’s incredibly important for people to get to know these candidates and to be able to make an informed decision”

Everyone will have the opportunity to interact with civic leaders in our region. No RSVP is required, just show up and enjoy your evening. The event is Thursday evening from 5:30 to 7:00 PM.
