SPOKANE, Wash. – The public is invited to participate in the second of a series of community discussions regarding the North Spokane Corridor final connection project and the proposed pedestrian bridges over I-90.
WSDOT said that they will provide updates on the pedestrian bridges, stormwater management related to the project, and tree replacement efforts. These discussions aim to gather community feedback and strengthen relationships between the Washington State Department of Transportation and local residents.
Meeting details:
– When: Wednesday, Oct. 16, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m.
– Where: Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center, Multipurpose Room, 500 South Stone St., Spokane, WA 99202
– Agenda: The meeting begins with a presentation at 5:45 p.m., followed by a Q&A session where attendees can share their preferences for bridge locations and designs. For those unable to attend in person, the meeting will also be available via Microsoft Teams.
Additional meetings are scheduled for the third Wednesday of each month through May 2025.
