China looks to lead in key areas in space science by 2050 [Video]

On Tuesday, China announced its first-ever medium- and long-term plans for space science development. A variety of key research areas have been listed. Ding Chibiao, vice president of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, said the country aims to become a global leader in certain areas by 2050.
