More red light cameras in Suffolk have entered the 30-day warning period [Video]

Cameras at two new intersections will start doling out fines on Nov. 10.

SUFFOLK, Va. — The Suffolk Police Department has advised that the warning period for two red light enforcement cameras began on Oct. 11.

The cameras are located at the northbound and westbound approaches to the Portsmouth Boulevard/Nansemond Parkway/East Washington Street intersection and the eastbound and southbound approaches at the Godwin Boulevard/Kings Fork Road intersection, according to a city press release.

During the 30-day warning period, individuals who violate red light rules will receive a cautionary letter sent to their homes.

Starting Nov. 10, violators will face a $50 fine.
