TAMPA, Fla. — Hurricane Milton, which brought widespread devastation to communities along Florida’s Gulf Coast, affected trash pickup schedules for multiple counties.

Here’s when trash pickup will resume in Tampa Bay-area counties after Hurricane Milton.

Citrus County trash

Florida Waste Management said that it will resume collection services for Citrus County on Friday except for certain areas that it may determine to be a safety risk due to flooding or downed utility lines or trees.

Citrus County subscription customers will see a two-hour delay in service.

City of Crystal River

Service for the city of Crystal River customers is impacted by a one-day delay. Thursday customers will have service on Friday, and Friday customers will have service on Saturday. Recycling and yard waste pickup are suspended until further notice.
