Jets Owner Pleads With Haason Reddick to End Holdout After Robert Saleh Firing [Video]

One of the stranger situations around the NFL this season has been that of New York Jets star pass rusher Haason Reddick. Reddick has been in a holdout with the team as he looks for a brand new contract.

Despite getting traded to New York this offseason, Reddick hasn’t been with the team. This has caused some issues within the locker room, with the Jets missing a key piece to their defensive unit.

New York recently fired head coach Robert Saleh following a poor 2-3 start to the new year. During the press conference about Saleh, Jets owner Woody Johnson was asked about the Reddick situation.

Johnson’s tone was welcoming, saying that Reddick would be guided in with open arms.
