The Hollywood Reporter unveils ‘Creator A list’ and it’s filled with influencers and TikTokers – but everyone is saying the same thing [Video]

A list apparently comprising the hottest names currently working in media has sparked bemusement amongst many who’ve cast an eye over it.

The Hollywood Reporter says its first ever ‘Creator A-List’ includes ‘staggeringly talented TikTokers’ and ‘Instagram stars we can’t look away from’ – but those who’ve spied the selection of 50 social media movers and shakers say they’ve ‘never heard of most of them’. 

Described by the magazine as ‘New Fame’, the list features writers, comedians, make-up artists, producers, interviewers and fashionistas with one thing in common – they’re all also described as ‘influencers’, who ply their trade on TikTok, Instagram and other social media landscapes, often with millions of followers hanging on to their every word.
