Three suspects arrested in Mead for attempted theft of auto parts from salvage yard [Video]

MEAD, Wash. — Spokane County deputies arrested three suspects—two adults and one teen—after they allegedly attempted to steal auto parts from a salvage yard in Mead.

According to a press release from the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a report of a possible burglary at Pull and Save Auto Parts on North Market Street around 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 7. Security personnel informed deputies that they had seen two suspects on camera: one was looking under cars while the other stood outside the business’s fence.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered a car parked near the salvage yard and contacted the driver, later identified as Lauryn McIntosh, 18. She claimed she was out of gas and waiting for her mother. Deputies observed two dirty tires in the backseat of her car, which she said she needed to replace and had owned for a few days.
