WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The students at the International School at Gregory are already challenged to be at or above grade level in core subjects. They also have to be effective communicators in English and Spanish. Because the bar is so high, one of the teachers there wants to make sure her engineering students are equipped with everything they need to succeed.
Dr. Morais, a high school teacher there, is seeking donations to purchase calculators for her engineering classes. She’s asking for donations through DonorsChoose, an online charity that helps teachers get funding for school projects.
