Fieldfisher Ireland LLP appoints Peter O’Neill as a partner [Video]

Fieldfisher Ireland LLP has appointed Peter O’Neill as a Partner in its Corporate and Commercial andRenewable Energy Law Practice.

A seasoned professional, O’Neill joins the firm with 18 years of experience in all aspects of commercial and corporate law including M&A transactions, venture capital transactions, distribution agreements and outsourcing agreements.

O’Neill also has considerable experience in the area of renewable energy advising on project finance, energy regulatory issues, project sales and acquisitions, and joint ventures.

He has previously acted for a mixture of Irish and international clients in relation to domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions as well as private equity, corporate investments, shareholders’ agreements and reorganisations, both Irish and cross-border.

In 2023, O’Neill led a team advising FuturEnergy Ireland, a joint venture between Coillte and the ESB,on the formation of a long-term Strategic Framework Agreement with Greencoat Renewables PLC inrelation to onshore wind projects across Ireland.
