The ‘Moonlight Luau’ at the Botanical Gardens was a hit on Friday [Video]

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Many in our community grabbed their Hawaiian gear and headed out to the South Texas Botanical Gardens for a special event Friday night.

As you can see, The Moonlight Luau, was a beautiful celebration.

Between a live performance from Aloha Dave and hula lessons from the Pacific Islanders’ Polynesian dancers, the event had the full recipe for a fun-filled night, all for a good cause!

Those who dined on the luau-inspired food and drinks and mingled with the garden’s parrots and iguanas were helping the botanical garden’s environmental education program.

It was an event that had first-timers saying that they would definitely be back next year.
