Community explores airplanes, learns about aviation at 25th Hillsboro airport block party [Video]

HILLSBORO Ore. (KPTV) – The Hillsboro Airport welcomed the community inside to learn more about how airports work and explore aviation careers at the annual Block Party at the Airport on Sunday.

Formerly known as the Hillsboro Air Fair, this free, all-ages event gives the community a close-up look at airport operations.

Complete with aircraft tours, activities for kids, live music and more, this 25-year-old event allows folks to come out and learn about how the airport works and about the local jobs it creates.
