TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – With just a month until the election, campaigns are doing their last outreach efforts to get people in Pima County registered to vote.
A few states have already started early voting, and Arizona is not far behind as time is running out with just three days from the voter registration deadline — Monday, Oct. 7.
“Every election is a chance for all of us in our community to have our voice heard,” said Dr. Ravi Shah, a volunteer for the Harris-Walz campaign.
Both campaigns are not letting up, whether it’s in person or over social media, and something seems to be working as there are nearly 10,000 more active voters in Pima County compared to the last general election.
“We’re everywhere, and we’re doing digital and we’re doing email,” said Gina Swoboda, chair of the Republican Party of Arizona.
