The judge overseeing the case of a former Colorado county clerk who promoted 2020 election conspiracy theories was visibly annoyed by the defendant in court on Thursday.

Tina Peters, 68, used someone else’s security badge to give an expert affiliated with My Pillow chief executive Mike Lindell access to the Mesa County election system.

Peters was convicted on seven counts of engaging in a security breach through allowing unauthorized access to voting machines. 

Before her sentencing, Peters elected to address the court. 

For nearly an hour she rambled on about false claims regarding the 2020 election that continue to be propped up by conspiracy theorists. 

But all this monologue would do was aggravate 21st District Court Judge Matthew Barrett, who at one point actually facepalmed in court during a disagreement with the defendant, Law & Crime
