If you think “high-tech” and “bagels” can’t go together, then you haven’t visited the Boichik’s shop and factory on Sixth Street in the Gilman District.
Boichik Bagels offers behind-the-scenes tours of its bagel factory on Thursday, Oct. 10, as part of the Berkeley Manufacturing Week 2024 tour series. Also offering tours are: Third Culture Bakery, Adams & Chittenden Scientific Glass, Takara Sake, TCHO Chocolate, Covenant Wines, Cult Crackers, Artworks Foundry, Berkeley Potters Guild, Trumer Brewery, Cellarmaker Brewing Company, and Zenbooth. Organized by the City of Berkeley Office of Economic Development.
