Verizon customers reporting outages around Pittsburgh [Video]

Some Verizon customers in the Pittsburgh are experiences network issues.

Many cell phones are displaying “SOS”, meaning there isn’t a proper connection with the network.

The outage peaked around noon with over 103,000 outages, but started to improve as the hour went on.

Verizon released a statement “We are aware of an issue impacting service for some customers. Our engineers are engaged and we are working quickly to identify and solve the issue.

Several people contacted KDKA Radio, reporting they were experiencing issues.

In addition to Pittsburgh, areas across the United States reported network issues with Verizon.
