PEORIA (25News Now) – The Peoria County Coroner said 10-year-old boy has died after a Sunday night shooting in Peoria.
Police spokeswoman Semone Roth said a two round shots potter came in around 7:35 pm Sunday night in the 600 block of Romeo B. Garrett Avenue at the Cityscape Apartments.
The Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood told 25News the boy, who has not yet been identified, died at the hospital.
There is no word on a suspect at this time and the shooting remains under investigation.
