Helene-spawned tornado confirmed in Rockingham co. [Video]

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Not only did Hurricane Helene bring devastating rainfall amounts and high winds across the Carolinas, Helene also spawned several Tornado Warnings across the Triad, mainly for Rockingham and Caswell counties starting Thursday night through Friday night. The National Weather Service team has completed a damage survey for the tornado event in Rockingham county from Friday afternoon between 3:25PM – 3:27 PM.
