LAS CRUCES, N.M. (KRQE) – New Mexico State University (NMSU) says its fall enrollment has increased for the third year. Early numbers show there are more than 22,700 students on campus this semester.

That’s just over 4% over fall 2023. NMSU also saw gains in its community colleges in Alamogordo and Grants. The university credits the increase to the lottery and opportunity scholarships, along with its online offerings.
