EnergyPathways CEO unveils major energy storage project – One2One Investor Forum [Video]

EnergyPathways PLC CEO Ben Clube presented at the Proactive One2One Investor forum on the company’s innovative approach to the energy transition landscape.

EnergyPathways PLC is focused on integrated energy solutions, with its flagship project being the Maram Energy Storage Hub (MESH), located off the Lancashire coast.

This project will combine natural gas and green hydrogen storage, positioning it as a key player in the multi-billion-dollar UK energy storage sector. Clube highlighted the urgent need for increased energy storage in the UK as renewable wind generation grows rapidly, with capacity expected to triple by 2030.

Clube shared concerns about the constraints in the UK’s grid and gas supply, forecasting that the country will import 80% of its gas by 2030. “Energy storage with respect to gas is going to be key as the UK looks to fill the gaps in intermittent wind power generation.”
