4th annual Ale Trail fundraiser tonight in Williamsville [Video]

Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) – Twenty-six local breweries are coming together for the 4th Annual Ale Trail fundraiser tonight at 4:30 at 30 Wilson Road in Williamsville. The event benefits The Arc Erie County New York, a nonprofit that supports people with disabilities. $40 gets you a tasting glass and samples for all alcohol vendors. There’s also a $10 ticket for non-alcoholic vendors.

The Buffalo Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America hosts the 34th edition of the Excalibur Awards tonight, honoring local companies for their public relations work. Executives at Crowley Webb, M&T Bank and MED-Project will be honored. The ceremony begins this evening at 7:45 at Tewksbury Lodge on Ohio Street in Buffalo.

The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra opens its 90th season this Saturday at Kleinhans. Violinist Joshua Bell will perform. There will also be a gala honoring JoAnn Falletta’s 25th year as Music Director for the BPO.
