BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) – A plan is in the works for students to return to the Alderson Broaddus campus in Philippi.
A partnership is being made between West Virginia Wesleyan College in Buckhannon and the owners of the former Alderson Broaddus University that closed last year.
After the schools sudden closure Wesleyan enrolled many of the students.
Wesleyan’s President Dr. James Moore says they’re working quickly yet thoroughly to bring educational programs back to A.B.’s campus.
“Really aggressively exploring and pursuing educational opportunities over here, particularly in the allied health space, we’ve signaled that we want to be the educational partner for any entity that comes onto this campus that has needs,” said Moore. “We’re planting our flag and saying this place matters and we have a role to play in serving the educational needs in this part of the state.”
