BRIT influencer “Old Dry Keith” who went viral in China for showing off his bland sandwiches has tragically died.

Social media users are mourning the death of Keith Brown whose videos became increasingly popular among the Chinese people.

The retired British engineer got his fame after his Chinese wife Zhang began posting videos of him making classic British sandwiches.

The videos featured Keith cutting whole-wheat bread for his ham and tomato sandwiches and making meals which people began to call “dry lunch”.

His social media account on Douyin, China’s version of TikTok, was hit with millions of fans from China who enjoyed watching him make the British staple.

Many Chinese supermarkets began stocking cold-cut sandwiches dubbed “Old Drys” after the Brit influencer’s videos started to take off.
