A professor of AI at Arizona State University for the past 33 years, Subbarao Kambhampati loves talking about LLMs. He compares them with toothpastes. “As much as I hate the analogy, AI is becoming like electricity. But we do not have a global electrical policy. We do not need that for AI as well.” Kambhampati’s research and views on AI’s societal impact have been featured in various media outlets.
