On Oct. 1, visitors will go from paying $3 for parking to $4, according to city leaders.
MADEIRA BEACH, Fla. — Madeira Beach city leaders announced some important updates for visitors regarding parking for later this year and next year.
On Oct. 1, 2024, the hourly parking rate will increase from $3 to $4 an hour, according to the city’s official website. The increase is reportedly meant to improve Madeira Beach’s parking services and maintain facilities “for everyone’s convenience.”
This new change will apply to every parking kiosk in city-owned lots and in-app purchases through the ParkMobile App. In addition, city leaders say all parking sessions must start when drivers arrive at their spot, not after.
Speaking of kiosks, by Jan. 2 2025, all of them will be removed in Madiera Beach, city leaders said. By that time, the ParkMobile app will reportedly be the city’s exclusive method for paying for parking.
