Lancaster County Career and Technology Center closed again 1 day after receiving social media threat [Video]

School officials say they decided to close the campus today “out of an abundance of caution” as they continue to work with county school districts and law enforcement departments to investigate reports of threats posted on social media. 

The school sent the following message to staff and families last night:

Safety is our paramount concern.  Tonight, additional social media reports of threats are being investigated by law enforcement. Due to this uncertainty, we will be CLOSED Friday 9/20/24 for both our high school and adult programming.

Please plan on returning Monday 9/23/24. Please check the LCCTC website, lancasterctc.edu, often, about information for available support services for students during the day Friday, September 20, 2024.
