Senator Baldwin announces funding for misdiagnosed veterans [Video]

MADISON, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Senator Tammy Baldwin announcing veterans misdiagnosed at the Department of Veterans Affairs, or VA, will receive over $4.2 million in retroactive benefits. Baldwin says over 100 veterans who were misdiagnosed will receive those benefits.

In a press release, the senator says quote, “While we can never undo the hardship and loss these Veterans and their families experienced after being misdiagnosed, today is a big step forward in making it right and taking care of the heroes that served us.”
