Major new festive event announced for Irish city with skate trail, Christmas market and funfair [Video]

A MAJOR new Christmas event is set to start in just weeks – with a skate trail, funfair and festive market.

A new immersive winter wonderland is coming to Cork city on November 8.

Winter is about to get even more magical in Cork with the announcement of Winterlee.

This festive event will be located at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh, and will feature Cork’s favourite Alpine Skate Trail alongside a Christmas market, wooden chalets with food and drink, local craft stalls, and a funfair.

Winterlee is the product of a collaboration between three Cork businesses – Cool Running Events, SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh and Brook Foods.

Together, they aim to create an unforgettable winter experience that combines ice skating, a lively winter village, and festive attractions.
