The high school released its full plan for students and staff as they set to attempt to ease into the school year.

WINDER, Ga. — Students at Apalachee High School are set to return to the classroom next week.

The high school released its full plan for students and staff as they attempt to ease into the school year once again following a tragic shooting that left the community shaken.

The school also announced that J Hall, where the shooting took place, will be closed for the rest of the school year. All social studies classes that were in the hall will be moved to a nearby Barrow County school building on Star Street. Students will be bussed to and from building for those classes. This solution will be in place until January 2025, when new classroom pods arrive to the school.
