Getting ready for Balloon Fiesta with the Fiesta Fanatics Cleanup Event [Video]

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The City of Albuquerque Solid Waste Management Department, Keep Albuquerque Beautiful and Imagine ABQ are teaming up to put on the Fiesta Fanatics Cleanup Event.

Saturday, September 28 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. volunteers are invited to come together to cleanup Balloon Fiesta Park. Across the city, volunteers are also encouraged to collaborate with local neighborhood associations, organizations and companies to clean up the community. Volunteers just need to show up to Balloon Fiesta Park and bags, gloves, trash pickers and other supplies will be provided.

The first 300 registrants to sign in at Balloon Fiesta Park will receive a free shirt and the first 50 people to sign in will receive a free Balloon Fiesta ticket. Anyone interested in volunteering must register by Friday, September 20. For more information and to register, click here.
